How to change Meta ad budgets with your approval

Before you start

• An Analify account with Meta Ads connected under Settings → Integrations.
• Permission to change budgets on the connected account.
• The exact campaign or ad set you want to review, plus your intended daily budget and currency.
• For profit-based recommendations, connected Shopify and shipping data plus recorded product costs.

Steps

1. Step 1

   Investigate before changing a budget

   Open the Analify Agent inside Analify. Name the campaign or ad set and the date range. Ask it to review spend, sales and available profit evidence, show its calculations and explain any missing data.

2. Step 2

   Ask the Agent to prepare the change

   Ask for a supported daily-budget change on the exact campaign or ad set. The Agent prepares the action and explains the proposed change. Review the target, current and proposed budget, currency and reason.

3. Step 3

   Review the approval card

   Inside Analify, the approval card shows what will change, why and whether the change can be undone. Approve only when the details match your intention. The Agent executes only after you approve; declining leaves the proposed change unexecuted.

4. Step 4

   If using ChatGPT or Claude, connect MCP

   Add the unified Analify endpoint to your MCP client, or use https://analify.scalyax.ai/api/mcp/meta for Meta-only access. Authorize against the Meta account already connected in Analify.

5. Step 5

   Review the MCP client's confirmation

   Through MCP, Analify executes immediately when the write tool is called. There is no separate Analify Agent approval card in this flow. Read your client's tool-call confirmation before approving, including the exact campaign or ad set and budget. If the client has no confirmation step, first request a proposal without a write call, review it, then explicitly ask for the exact change.

6. Step 6

   Check the result

   Read the execution result and ask for the current budget to verify the change. If the call fails, inspect the error before trying again.

• Supported changes include campaign and ad set daily budgets. Availability depends on the connected account, permissions and supported tools.
• Inside Analify, the Agent prepares the change and executes only after your approval.
• Through MCP, the write-tool call executes the change. Client confirmation is the approval where the client provides it; do not assume every client asks.
• A request to prepare a proposal is not a technical approval barrier in MCP. Review the client's confirmation behavior before requesting a write.
• Missing product costs or returns data can weaken a recommendation. Check the evidence before approving a budget change.
