AOV
AOV (average order value) is the average revenue per order in a period: total revenue divided by the number of orders.
Formula
AOV = Revenue ÷ Number of orders
Example
$10,000 revenue ÷ 200 orders = $50 AOV.
In Analify
Analify shows AOV from Shopify next to profit per order, so you can see whether a higher order value actually brings more profit.
Questions
Does a higher AOV mean more profit?
Not always. Discounts and bundles can raise AOV while lowering margin. Check profit per order too.
Should AOV include shipping and tax?
Decide once and keep it consistent; Analify shows which revenue definition it uses.
